Face Lift Surgery

What does a person do to avoid old age? From expensive creams to surgery. One of them is face-lift. Stretch the skin of the face and throat so that you look young again.

If you have wrinkles on your face at an early age, otherwise you want to prevent the consequences of adulthood for a few months or days, then face lifting is the best option, given your need for anti-aging.

As we age, the strain inside our skin starts to decrease, due to which the skin starts hanging. Face-lift is a cosmetic surgery to create a youthful appearance on your face. The method can reduce skin sagging or folds on the cheeks and jaws and other changes within the shape of your face that occur with age.

During a face-lift, a flap of skin is pulled back on all sides of the face, and the tissue under the skin is surgically replaced to return the contour of the face to a smaller size. The surplus skin is removed before the flap is closed.

Why Facelift Surgery?

As you get older, the feeling and shape of your face change due to normal age-related changes. Your skin becomes less elastic and relaxed, and fat deposits decrease in some areas of your face and increase in others. Age-related changes in your face that will decrease with face-lift include the following:

  1. The appearance of your cheeks

  2. Extra skin (jewels) on your skin

  3. Deepening of the skin bends from the side of your nose to the corner of your mouth.

  4. Accumulation of skin and excess fat within the neck

A new look is not a cure for superficial wrinkles, reduced sun damage, irregularity in the nose and upper lip, or complications.

Procedure

A face-lift involves elevating the skin and tightening the underlying tissues and muscles. Fats within the face and neck are often fabricated, removed, or redistributed. The facial skin is then replaced with a new facial form, the surplus skin is removed, and so the wound is sewn or closed.

The use of incisions for the procedure depends on the techniques that will be used and therefore the patient's preferences. Options include:

A traditional facelift incision starts in your temples within the hairline, below your ear and forward, and behind your ear to your lower back. An incision is made under your chin to enhance the texture of your neck.

A limited incision can be a small incision that starts in your hairline just above your ear, wraps around the front of your ear, but does not reach the lower scalp.

The neck lift incision starts from the front of your earlobe and continues in your lower scalp around your ear. A small incision is additionally made under your chin.

A facelift usually takes two to four hours, but if other cosmetic procedures are performed at a similar time, it is likely to take longer.

A face-lift can give your face and neck a young look. Face-lift results are not permanent. With age, the facial skin may begin to fall again. Typically, a face-lift is usually expected for the last 10 years.
